Angela M. Cherniak, O.D., is a distinguished optometrist specializing in comprehensive medical optometry eye exams for all ages. Before joining Balin Eye & Laser Center, Dr. Cherniak worked at a private practice, co-managing cataracts, glaucoma, and retinal surgeries with a partnering ophthalmologist. Angela enjoys family time, exploring the great outdoors, and discovering new hiking trails with her husband, Curt, and daughter, Vivian. At home, she transforms into a voracious reader, delving into the captivating worlds of science fiction and fantasy novels.
Education
Dr. Cherniak holds a Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Indiana School of Optometry where she earned her Bachelor of Science, majoring in biology and minoring in chemistry. She holds a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in philosophy and minoring in psychology from the University of Indiana.
Volunteer
Dr. Cherniak has actively supported and volunteered for many years in the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization to guide the youth of her community through dedicated mentorship.
