We Are Open!

We are very happy to announce that we are now seeing new and existing patients for our full range of eye care services. Schedule an appointment today—we look forward to seeing you!

For the last few months, we have limited our services to patients with emergency and essential needs. We have also implemented updated procedures to keep our patients, staff and community safe. As we begin the transition back to full operation, please keep in mind that in our scheduling we will continue prioritizing urgent care and existing patients with chronic needs. In addition to our main office in Northampton, we will now once again be scheduling procedures in our Springfield and Ware satellite offices.

We are committed to doing everything necessary to continue keeping you safe. That’s why we are continuing to operate with our updated safety procedures, outlined below. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call us at (413) 584-6666.

Safety First

Keep Us Informed of Your Health

Please contact us 24 hours or more before your appointment if you are running a fever, have a cough, and/or have had contact with or exposure to someone sick with, or testing positive for, COVID-19.

Curbside Check-in and Screening

When you arrive and park outside our office, please stay in your vehicle and call us at (413) 584-6666 to inform us that you have arrived. A staff member will then come out to you to take your temperature, and to ask a few safety screening questions. If there is any paperwork we need you to fill out, that staff member will bring it with them for you to complete before you are called into the office.

If you have a cough and/or fever, have traveled out of the state or country recently, or have been in contact with someone sick with, or testing positive for, COVID-19, we will need to reschedule your appointment for a later date.

When it’s time for your appointment, we will call you to come in, and a staff member will greet you at the door. We will bring you directly into the office; you will not be asked to wait in the waiting room.

No Friends or Family Inside

Unless you require physical assistance, we ask that family or friends do not accompany you into the office. We are making every effort to carefully control the people who are coming and going on a daily basis.

Wear Your Mask … We’re Wearing Ours.

Please arrive at our office with an appropriate cloth mask covering your mouth and nose prior to our staff member coming out for your safety screening.

Our staff is equipped with appropriate personal protective equipment including gloves, masks, gowns and eye protection.

Social Distancing in the Office

We are minimizing hallway traffic and interactions with staff. We’ve eliminated handshakes, and we’re keeping physical contact to a minimum.

Checking Out

There will be no need to visit the front desk on your way out; we will just escort you back out to the parking area.

We are so grateful to be able to offer a full range of eye care to all of our new and current patients once again. We look forward to seeing you soon!
